Property: white rhombic or needle bright crystal. It is bitter
and inflammable. Specific gravity is 1.046, melting point is 170-182
 , decomposed when being further
heated. It will sublimated when decompressed at 150-160 . It is soluble in cold water,
ammonia thiocyanate solvent and alcohol, hardly soluble in diethyl
ether.
Uses: pharmaceutical raw material, bleaching agent in textile
dyeing and printing, auxiliary of dyeing and anti-oxidant. It
can be used as rubber accelerator, floating agent, photo developing
agent, peroxide thiourea, cold wave, etc. It is also used in resin
compression molding powder, electroplating blueprinting and boiler
washing.
